NEW!
We've customized our CEO peer coaching program for entrepeneurs building or running businesses that provide employment for persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD). The program will be offered for free to employers who meet the qualifications. Read further for more information and application.

Benjmain Franklin suggested we “do well by doing good.” It is also the case that in order to do good, you need to do well.

We know that it’s very difficult to build and grow a small business. While there’s no formal data collected on the success rate of small businesses specifically built to provide employment to persons with disabilities, we do know the failure rate is high. Often, such mission-based businesses don’t have the experience or the resources to ensure its sustainability and long-term success.

Yet there are stories like Bitty & Beau and John’s Socks. We know it’s possible. Doing good and doing well.

Here’s how Trajectify can help.

As we start and grow, business owners discover new obstacles and insecurities we hadn't previously encountered. We might feel alone, or stuck, or just that it's more difficult than we expected. The good news is that others have been there before — peers, coaches and mentors — and by working together, we build the skills, experience, confidence and support to move forward and achieve bigger goals.

Trajectify coach-led Leadership Groups combine professional leadership and business coaching with the benefits of support from peers who face similar situations and challenges. The insights, feedback, support, and accountability from those who have been in that same situation has great positive impact.

Our first groups started in 2013, a decade ago, so we know what we’re doing. It’s typical for a participating business to grow 35% more than those without such a program. In face, many find themselves doubling revenues annually.

We are excited to now able to open a new group specifically for entrepreneurs and business owners who create jobs for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). And we will offer this program to qualified businesses at no cost.

This inaugural group will consist of 6-8 businesses . The cornerstone of the program is a monthly working meeting facilitated by a coach, typically segmented into three parts:

  • Accountability: Reviewing company statuses, milestones, and goals and accountabilities for the next session.

  • Education: Learning and discussion on a pre-determined topic, often with a guest speaker or mentor;

  • Mastermind: Structured discussion on a few challenges facing some of the companies;

The meeting time and location is determined by consensus of the group. We're even open to early mornings, late evenings, or weekends — we know the crazy hours that you have to keep! We also maintain a private platform (online group) where members can communicate with coaches and each other, along with any guest speakers or advisors we’ve engaged.

It is the unique combination of professional coaching and peer-to-peer learning and support that helps solve problems, develop and evaluate opportunities, and provide a platform for your accountability to growth.
